apron... apron!

today i have finished the first apron for the crew of sarabo ilocano.

i've been sewing for a long time now, things that i myself wear or use. i have sewn curtains for my room, pillow cases, shoebags, pajamas... i can sew a decent skirt.

then came this task of designing and sewing the aprons for sarabo. after looking over the net for some references, my good friend florence, also a sarabo crew, halped me picked the materials. then i began cutting and sewing.

i hope holly will like this apron.

turning 70

my mother, rizalina, has turned 70 years old today.

and she sang Danny Boy awhile back at the videoke.
